5 × 7 in Print The print, Sacrificial lamb in the sun, draws inspiration from traditional depictions of lambs as symbols of sacrifice. In these works, lambs are often shown bound and restrained, awaiting slaughter. In my piece, the lamb exists beyond its symbolic role as an offering. Beneath the sun, the lamb is no longer defined by what it can represent or provide, but by its simple existence as a living being.
